I was in Taxischool for 4 weeks in March and I passed SPSV entry test on my first attempt. My teacher Owen was very friendly and he was also a great teacher. So I would easily recommend this course to anyone.

I had let my SPSV Licence lapse. So I decided to do a refresher course, even if it was just for one day.I really needed to do the complete course.

Passed my SPSV exam first time with the help of Owen at Taxischool. He lays out the framework and if you match that with some hard work you will be successful. Don’t underestimate the effort, however this is achievable if you listen to what Owen says and put in the hard graft yourself.

I completed the Taxischool 4 day spsv driver entry course over 4 weekends in January 2020 and in my opinion it was an excellent preparation for the SPSV Driver Entry Test. I sat the test on 19 February and passed first time – my results: 91% Industry Knowledge Test & 97% Area Knowledge Test.

I purchased the Taxischool app about 6 weeks ago. I found the app invaluable, with plenty of area knowledge information, which is regularly updated. I had been looking for something like this app for a while as most others only cover the Dublin area and I needed to study for Wicklow.
With the Taxischool app you can study any county that you want, I have just passed my test first time. You still need to put the work into your study, but the Taxischool app makes it a whole lot easier with all its information. And when needed the feedback from the Taxischool app team was very prompt and courteous.

I decided this year to make a change in my career and study the SPSV. I heard about Taxi School in the Spade Centre through a friend. I called them up and they where most helpful.
I was put on the next course, where I met Owen, the class teacher. If you listen to what he says and only learn what he tells you to learn then you like me will pass .
I did probably to much homework and studied the night before the exam till late and again in the morning before the exam as a result I failed first go with brain overload.
I did the exam again 4 weeks later and passed with flying colours.

I failed 2 times 3 years ago. I did a lot of study but was concentrating on wrong stuff.

Well, I was looking to re-enter the taxi trade as my licence expired 18 years ago and I changed career. But now at nearly 60 years old the task of getting licence seemed difficult, but I downloaded the app for County Mayo and I did study and put a lot of time in and hay! Presto! I passed 1st time. This course is a must for anyone wanting to do their PSV Licence. Our tutor was Owen and his knowledge of the industry and area knowledge was second to none, giving you all the knowledge and tips you need in order for you to pass the test. I would recommend the 4 Week Course as there is a lot of chapters to go through in the SPSV manual which Owen covers very thoroughly.

I took the 4 week course with Owen every Sunday. That suited me with my current job as I don`t work weekends at the moment. There is a lot of information to take in. Owen himself is very knowledgeable in his field and he basically tells you what you will be asked on both tests. He also gives paperwork to study from. In this paperwork there is all you need to know to pass both tests (Industry and Area Knowledge). Owen is with you every step of the way. If I ever needed to ask him something I would just contact him through text. Always very helpful with tips on how to improve studying. One thing I will say is that you have to study. There is no other way of passing it. I would definitely recommend doing the course with Owen. Without him I wouldn`t know a thing about both tests. Lastly, I passed both tests with the help of Taxischool. Thank you!!!!

Congratutions to me, I have just passed my SPSV test! During the process the Taxischool team were very helpful. If you are planning to get your test done, please listen to the instructor and you will be just fine, however you also have to dedicate sometime for your studies.

I began my SPSV journey 6 weeks ago, and quickly realised if I wanted to pass the tests first time (on average it takes 3 attempts) I’d need some help.
Enter Taxischool.
I’m outside Dublin (Roscommon) and Owen and his team set me up with the App that included hundreds of potential questions. Knowledge still had to be learned, but the questions in both the industry and area categories were spot on and helped me focus on what was important.
Well, tests are now complete, and reader, I passed – first time!
I possibly would have passed the industrial knowledge module on my own, as it’s a matter of reading and learning from a manual, but I wouldn’t have a hope of getting the area knowledge right without Taxischool… and as the pass rate is 75%, it’s quite a high bar!

I have passed the two categories of entry test at once in Dublin county. I got my taxi course from Taxischool and they are kind people and very helpful. I got access to their Taxischool app, which is amazing. If you want to pass the entry test and get an SPSV licence, Taxischool is the best.

I think the course pays for itself, as odds are you will end up on the road much earlier as a result. I passed on the first go, and pretty much all of the questions that came up in my exam were covered by the study materials provided in the course. For example, there are 200 odd one-ways in Dublin, and having guidance on which 30-40 are actually in the database of questions is a huge time saver (that is just one example). Owen is a great instructor and I would recommend their service to anyone.

Passed first time in Co. Clare. Trial exams are very good. You need to read the material and then test yourself.

The course does what it says. It’s structured in such a way that makes all the studying more efficient and focused on the most important aspects of the exam. You do need to put time and effort into studying but its a lot easier than doing it with no guidance. I joined the class with Owen on the 17th of February and I passed both exams on the 19th of March on my first attempt.

I would highly recommend Taxi School to anyone considering doing the Driver Entry Test for a PSV licence. Taxischool app is absolutely top class and was the core reason I passed my industry and area knowledge tests for Galway at the first attempt. I used the app in conjunction with Google maps, and it’s a fantastic app. There is absolutely no way I would have passed the area knowledge test without using this app. Edward who I spoke with on the phone is always extremely helpful and a great guide. Highly recommended the app. You need to spend loads of time studying using the app but it is so worth it to pass the test due to the very long lasting benefits of passing the area knowledge test and getting your SPSV licence. I enjoyed this course. It is worthwhile. Owen was a great instructor on the Saturday classes. I remembered a lot of stuff by remembering the classes. I liked the ‘test exams ‘ each week as they kept you on your toes. When studying I could see how everything was falling into place.. like a jigsaw.

I have bought the home study course and the App for the Wicklow Area and I have successfully passed the exam a couple of months after studying. The App is really useful for self-testing. And the people who work with the Taxischool are very friendly and helpful. They always respond very fast via WhatsApp.

I am a retired teacher and I recently passed the SPSV exam first time.
I asked a few local taxi drivers what’s the best way to go about the test and they all replied with three words “The Taxi School”.
Their study materials are really excellent
– as good as any grind school! I bought the App and the Home Study plans for Co. Wexford and it saved me a huge amount of tedious work. Everything you need is there. Everything is laid out in a logical sequence of study modules. The App and its multiple-choice questions are the best possible preparation for the exam. I had a few questions to ask Edward and he responded immediately and patiently. I thoroughly recommend the Taxi School.
