How many counties can I subscribe to at a time?
Each subscriber can sign up for only 1 county at a time. When your studies for that county is completed, you can then get the App for another county if you wish. Please contact us before you buy the App for another county.
How many categories does the free version give access to?
The free subscription of the App gives access for the user to study and do the test for only one category on Area Knowledge (Hotels). After passing the tests for that category, and if the user wants to study and do the test for the other categories, they need to upgrade to the full version of the Taxischool App by paying the relevant fee.
How can I upgrade from the free version to the full version?
The upgrading process is simple. When the user is logged in the App they may click on the link in the message above the list of categories on either Industry Knowledge or Area Knowledge section. That link brings the user to the Taxischool website where they can click on the button “Get our App”. Their details will be already filled out on the Sign Up form. Simply make sure that the selected County is your chosen one, click on “Sign Up” under the box that informs the value of the App, and type your credit/debit card details to buy the App for €99 (full access for 60 days).
What is the full version like?
For each category on both Industry Knowledge and Area Knowledge the user will find the study section and the category test with 10 questions. For you to pass the test for each category you must get at least 80% of the questions right. That is to ensure you have learnt the content. You can try and do the category tests as many times as you need.
When can I take the Final Exam in the App and how does it work?
Once you have passed all categories in the Industry Knowledge section you can go to the App Main Navigation Bar, click on "Do the Test" and then click on "Industry Knowledge Test". You will then find 54 questions on Industry Knowledge that have been taken from the chapters you have previously studied in the App.
Once you have passed all categories in the Area Knowledge section you can go to the App Main Navigation Bar, click on "Do the Test" and then click on "Area Knowledge Test". You will then find 36 questions on Area Knowledge that have been taken from the categories you have previously studied in the App.
How long do I have access to the full version of Taxischool App?
Your time to have full access to the Taxischool App with your current subscription is of 60 days from the purchase date. After that your subscription will be locked and you will no longer have access to the App, but you can renew your subscription for 60 more days by subscribing again for €50. Please contact us before you resubscribe and we will guide you through the process.
When should I renew my subscription if I want to access the App for 60 more days?
There is no specific time for you to renew your subscription. You may renew it at any time by subscribing on https://www.taxischool.ie/get-our-app/#get-signup-desc or through the App itself.
How long will it take for me to complete all categories on the Taxischool App?
Realistically, Taxischool recommend you to study and do the short test for two category per day maximum as there is a great deal of content to learn. Each county has around 30 categories, so if you study and do the test for two categories per day you should be completing all categories in 15 days and then will have the remaining subscription time to review the content you have studied.
Can I get a refund after paying for the App?
Please note that due to the fact that we are unable to cancel an app subscription, we are not in a position to refund the amount you have paid for the App.
